PROJECT ENERGY-PROJECT SURYADEV

The quantity of fossil fuels has dipped dangerously low from mass and arbitrary usage, which means that more and more people are being forced to move toward a more sustainable energy source. In fact, sustainable is perhaps the word that can best sum up the important position that renewable energy sources have in the current world.

As we realise the need of alternate energy we are promoting the Solar Energy which is present in abundance in tropical country like us. We promote solar projects and also impart training in the same for youth.

Halting deforestation, and implementing widespread forest restoration and reforestation, could provide important contributions towards the emission reductions needed to avoid dangerous climate change.

The truth is that while there is a lot of lip service about "going green" and "doing something" for the environment. Hence we primarily focus on afforestation projects by the distribution of saplings.

PROJECT HORTICULTURE - PROJECT UYIRTHULIR

There is a popular saying that Plant trees to save Earth. But KOVISE does not believe in planting trees alone. It also emphasises on maintaining the same for a minimum period of one year. KOVISE sponsors native tree sapling.

PROJECT SUSTAINABLE LIFE STYLE - PROJECT PRANA

A sustainable lifestyle is one that wastes little to nothing, one that depends upon renewable and renewed resources, one that is as self-sufficient as possible, one that shares its bounty to rid another's dearth and puts the needs of all before the greed of one -- in short, one that does not take more than it returns to its environment and its community.

Keeping this in mind, KOVISE Foundation is trying to foster sustainability in the way people lived when our grandfather was a boy, but without giving up our advantageous new technologies, and putting them to use to improve “the old ways" rather than replacing them.

We at KOVISE Foundation nurture people to be more sustainable by growing their own organic food in their yards, installing solar panels and rain water systems.

PROJECT WATER - PROJECT VARUNA
